Dandy Bag® Inlet Filter
One of the greatest environmental concerns we face these days is soil erosion. This is a widespread problem due to the rise of urbanization and a multitude of construction projects that are ongoing. When buildings are constructed, the land is ripped up and dug out, exposing the soil to possible erosion.
Sediments dug up during construction can find their way to the city’s water system through storm sewers, storm grates and storm inlets. This includes large projects and small projects (like the new home being built on your block), alike.
Because of the potential danger to our environment, the government has required contractors to use a professional-grade inlet filter and to erect their own sediment control solutions and measures when starting any new project.
You can tell it’s a Dandy the moment you open it up. Our patented flagship bag is designed to take a lot of hard knocks. Use the Dandy Bag with flat grates (including round) and mountable curbs to filter out all the sludgy sediment-laden storm water. The suspended solids are allowed to settle out of the slowed flow and are captured by the Dandy Bag prior to entering the inlet, ensuring you regulatory compliance performance.
